On Wednesday, October 29, 2013, a simple Mass was celebrated at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Mentorella in remembrance of the visit of Pope John Paul II shortly after his election as Supreme Pontiff in 1978. Nine priests concelebrated at the Eucharist, which was attended by parishioners of our parishes in Guadagnolo and Montecelio and other collaborators at the Sanctuary. Fr. General Bernard Hylla CR and Secretary General Fr. Jim Gibson CR joined the Rector of the Sanctuary Fr. Adam Dzwigon CR at the celebration.
